Thank you all...just to clear some things up...it is not 5 mill. That is around what my sister is already worth. And I and my 3 aunts and uncles took care of him for the last 10 years. He was a very hard man to get along with and changed his will 3 or 4 times, so we are just saying there is no will so it passes to my uncle and 2 aunts...my father passed away so the last 1/4 gets split by law to me and my sister, unless she refuses.

All I am looking for is for her to not take the money. I feel it is wrong to take money from a person you want nothing to do with. My sister has not see or spoken to my grandfather in 15 years...she thought he was an evil man. Are there any scriptures of people turning down money for moral reasons.

I am an ex JW and happy. My sister is an ultra JW married to an elder. My non JW Grandfather just past away and my sister has said for the last 15 years that she wanted nothing to do with that side of my family including me and especially my grandfather. She always said how evil he was. He was a wealthy man and had no will so a portion gets split between me and my nasty sister. Now she is saying that her and her hubby have to think about it, meanwhile they are worth atleast 5 mill. Please if anyone can give me scriptures or biblical stories to combat them , I feel this is the only way they will understand anything. Thanks in advance

Just wanted to give everyone an update. My sister and mother came to my baby shower. they gave me a big hug said they love me and congradulated me. I will enclose the email me and my sister exchanged after the shower. It sounds to me like they want to preach to my wife...let me know what u all think.(Just so you know there will be NO Dub preaching under MY roof.)
PS I am by nature a very nice person that hates conflict, let me know if I am being to much of a pushover.

I was involved in some acts that the judicial commity said was loose conduct, that was one creepy ass meeting. Two of the elders were in there 70's and pushin there 80's. So here is an update:
My mother just called me and we spoke for the first time in 5 yrs. She called to say her and my sister will be attending my wifes baby shower. She also wanted to make sure it was OK if she came after the birth to help out. So me and my wife have decided to try it out and see if anything good comes of it (i think its worth a shot). But i will be quick to pull the plug if she tries to preach.

Remember when assemblies were fun?
by Aphrodite ini just remembered when i was a kid and we would go to the assembly, it was fun because we got to buy new clothes and put extra effort into looking good.
when we would get there you could save your seats and even save some for your friends, then go off looking for them.. i used to love our circuit assembly because of the food.
it was at the assembly hall and there was a big kitchen, some of my favourite brothers worked in that kitchen, sometimes i was allowed to go in and help.

Worf.....You used to go to the Queens Ass. Hall ? They used to have that Ice cream section that was the Sh@#t. How bout walkin over to the White castle or Wendys, that was the ultimate JW freedom.
How about the danishes, I would eat as many of those as I could get.
Yankee stadium was great caus I got on the field.
Dramas were fun because if they were not good you could nap alittle(dim lights)
